Journey Somewhere by TANCREDI & MORGEN

Dia de Muertos: A Celebration of Life and Memory in Mexico City
October 28th - November 1st

Whether this is your first time or one of many, I can’t wait to share with you the Mexico City that has deeply enriched my life—both personally and artistically.

About Me

My name is Megan. I’m the twin daughter of Roger and Marsha Alldis of Tancredi & Morgen, and the twin sister of Gwynneth Alldis. What you may not know is that I’m also a filmmaker.

I lived in Mexico City for three years and continue to work there regularly on a documentary I’m directing with the support of The Redford Center (Robert Redford’s environmental foundation). Over time, I’ve built close relationships with artists, chefs, curators, and musicians across the city. I’m thrilled to share these with you—to open a door to la ciudad detrás del telón (the city behind the curtain).

What’s Included
This immersive, small-group journey includes:

  • Private, stylish and comfortable accommodations in a newly renovated brutalist design forward hotel in the heart of La Condesa

  • Three delicious meals a day—including at the city’s most celebrated restaurants! Culinary experience, mezcal and mexican wine tasting by sommelier

  • We’ll drift through the ancient canals of Xochimilco, sacred waters that have nourished life for centuries and still whisper the wisdom of Indigenous knowledge.

  • Personalized access to museums, galleries, libraries, private art salons, and architectural homes
(not open to the public) private studio visits with artists

  • A night of music at a hidden Cuban salsa club (dancing optional!)!

  • A curated experience of Mexico City through the lens of Frida Kahlo and the visionary spaces of architect Luis Barragán

  • Private, air conditioned mini bus for all transportation

  • Visits to tucked away ofrendas throughout the city,

Think of this as a fun, vibrant, and intimate way to experience Mexico City—guided by personal relationships, artistic insight, and genuine hospitality. ¡Lo vas a amar! (You’re going to love it.)
