Roger grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. He worked as an engineer in his family’s industrial factory, manufacturing parts for the country’s railway and transport industry. His passion for well-crafted objects and industrial materials informs his selection of utilitarian merchandise and creation of copper and zinc tables sold exclusively in the store today.
Marsha grew up in Ojai, California tagging along with her mother to flea markets, where she first cultivated her eye for classic California design and style. She started her career as a purchaser and designer in the apparel industry, before branching out into her own brick and mortar store called “Old World Cloth," in Carmel, California, specializing in textiles. Marsha continues to explore this specialty, designing and creating one-of-a-kind pillows and clothing, available exclusively in the store.
Megan grew up in Carmel Valley and Pacific Grove, California. Her early professional experience was shaped by the four years she spent working with Alice Waters at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California directly after graduating from San Francisco State University in Cinema Production and International Relations. Her passion for video production has taken her to Tanzania, Thailand, and Japan.
Gwynneth grew up in Carmel Valley and Pacific Grove, California. She has studied visual art in Florence, Italy on and off for the last eight years, having recently received her MFA from Studio Arts Centers International Florence in 2015. Her career in the arts began in costume design for theater production while she was pursuing her undergraduate degree. She is also passionate about music, having performed as a DJ at various hotspots while in Florence, Italy.
